Total Clicks

What are Total Clicks?

In the context of digital marketing, Total Clicks represent the total number of times users have clicked on a specific element, such as an online ad, a link in an email, or a call-to-action button on a website.

This metric is often used to gauge the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, as it directly reflects user engagement.

When a user clicks on an ad or a link, it indicates that they have taken an action in response to a marketing prompt.

However, it is important to remember that a click does not necessarily mean a conversion. For instance, a user might click on an ad, but then leave the page without making a purchase.

Google Search Console: Clicks

Total Clicks was a metric in the previous version of Google Search Console, this metric "Total Clicks" has been replaced by more specific metrics.

  3. Average Position: This metric provides the average position of your website or webpage in the search results for specific queries.

  4. Clicks: Clicks show the total number of times users clicked on your website or webpage from search results.
