What is a Landing Page?
A landing page is a specially created webpage where visitors land first following a click on a link from various platforms such as email, or advertisements on Google, Bing, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and similar places on the web.
Unlike standard web pages, which typically have many goals, landing pages are designed with a single focus or goal, known as a call to action.
Some common goals landing pages are designed for:
Capturing visitor emails
Getting people to buy something
Downloading a content offer
Signing up for a webinar
Effective landing pages are often standalone from a website, not linked to the site's navigation, and are used to guide the visitor toward the intended conversion goal.
