When it comes to accurately measuring a website or page's authority and ranking potential, there are several useful tools that provide Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) metrics.

One of the most popular is Moz Pro from the SEO software company Moz. Their DA and PA scores rate sites and pages on a scale of 1 to 100 based on a machine-learning model analyzing link-related factors.

Ahrefs has similar metrics called Domain Rating (DR) and URL Rating (UR) that evaluate the overall site and page strength based on their backlink profiles.

Semrush provides an Authority Score that looks at backlinks along with traffic and engagement signals to estimate overall domain authority.

There's also Majestic, which has Citation Flow and Trust Flow scores aimed at measuring site authoritativeness and trustworthiness through backlinking analysis.

Some other options are Woorank with its Domain and Page Scores, and SpyFu's Authority Score which combines links, traffic, domain age, and other ranking factors.

It's important to understand that these are all proprietary metrics using different underlying algorithms and weightings from each tool provider. So the DA/PA scores can vary quite a bit between tools for the same site.

They should really be used as relative indications rather than absolute values when evaluating authority. And of course, while authority is one major piece, there are many other factors that go into how a site or page ultimately gets ranked by search engines.

The tools can provide great insights, but improving content quality, earning quality backlinks naturally, and optimizing for UX and performance are most important for boosting visibility long-term.
